Effect of Nitrogen Fertilizer Application on Drupe by Drip Irrigation System This experiment aimed to study whether nitrogen fertilizer could be applied to the root system of fruit trees in order to achieve the same cultivation effect. Specimens include 7-year-old Montmorency sour cherry, 6-year-old Hong Kong peach, 7-year-old Stanley Lee and 5-year-old Wayne, Rhode Island Greening and Golden Delicious apple trees. In the same manner as nitrogen application on the ground, nitrogen concentrations of 25%, 50% and 100%, based on an analysis of the appropriate nitrogen content of the leaves, were applied by a drip irrigation system in combination with three different flows.
