他是我国著名漫画家,从事艺术活动七十年,在国内外享有盛誉,被誉为“富有战斗性的漫画家”。他从抗日战争爆发后开始从事抗敌宣传;在延安与蔡若虹、张谔举行《三人讽刺画展》;抗日战争胜利后在《东北日报》任记者,这一时期创作的政治时事漫画,如《磨好刀再杀》、《在反革命的后台》、《运输队》等,紧密配合人民解放战争的进程,发挥了漫画艺术打击敌人、教育人民的作用。
He is a famous cartoonist in China, engaged in art activities for seventy years and enjoys a good reputation both at home and abroad. He is reputed as a “combatant comic artist”. He started to engage in anti-enemy propaganda from the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. He held a “three-person caricature exhibition” in Yan’an and Cai Ruo-hong and Zhang 谔. As a reporter in the Northeast Daily after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, comic political comics such as “ Sharpening knives and slaughtering, ”“ counter-revolutionary backstage, ”“ transport corps, ”and so on. In close coordination with the process of the People’s Liberation War, comic art has played a role in cracking down on the enemy and educating the people.
