杜陵,即唐朝大诗人杜甫。此山水册是根据杜诗之意而作,诗画双绝,令人叹赏。此图册构图均极尽巧思,繁复精整,层次多变;用笔苍劲古朴,用墨含蓄氤氲,着色浅淡清爽,点景人物造型古拙文雅;尺幅间曲尽草木之态、诗情之妙,是谢氏小品山水的精妙之作。此处所选为图册的第五页,右下角有落款:“竹深留客处,荷净纳凉时。时臣写。”明代中期,苏州一带以沈周、文征明为代表的一些画家,山水崇尚北宋和元代风格,
