1938年5月,我到延安不久,即被编入抗大一大队三支队第七队。全队100多名学员,(相当于一个连队)大家一个个换上了浅灰色的棉布单军装,扎着灰布裹腿,腰系着棉线织的淡绿色军用腰带;一群来自五湖四海、追求真理的青年学生,一跃而成了一个军容整齐、青春焕发、学习战斗的集体。大家整天唱着“黄河之滨,集合着一群,中华民族优秀的子孙……,”的抗大校歌,在总校院内东边的大操场上受军事训练,正在准备迎接隆重的开学典礼。
