初中新课程注重的是学生的发展,提倡的是提高学生的自主探索和动手实践能力,与生活联系密切,将所学的数学知识应用于生活中,提高学生学习数学的积极性,加深对数学的认识。但在农村初中数学课堂上,存在较多的还是老师讲学生听,课程气氛不活跃;学生的数学基础差,动手反应能力差,对数学不感兴趣。因此,教师应活用好新课程,提高学生的自主探索、动手实践能力。
