The prevalence and prevalence of diabetes are on a worldwide scale. Diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) is one of the major cardiac complications of diabetes and is characterized by left ventricular diastolic and / or systolic dysfunction and may also be accompanied by heart failure, arrhythmia, cardiogenic shock, critically ill patients and even sudden death. The pathogenesis of DCM is not yet completely clear, and it is thought to be related to many factors such as myocardial glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism and energy metabolism, and myocardial fibrosis, oxidative stress and cell death. This article will review the current research on the pathogenesis of DCM from the aspects of cell, tissue and molecular level in order to provide the basis for clinical prevention and treatment.
