Objective To investigate the status of willingness to participate in cervical cancer screening among migrant workers in Baoding city and to understand its influencing factors so as to provide basis for making accurate interventions and improving the screening rate of female migrant workers in cities. Methods By stratified cluster sampling method, 384 floating women in Jingxiu district and Lianchi district of Baoding city were selected for investigation. Their willingness to participate in the screening of cervical cancer and its influencing factors were analyzed. Results Among the 384 respondents, 80.47% of women said they were involved in cervical cancer screening and 19.53% of women did not participate in the screening. Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in seven factors (age, marital status, educational level, location of permanent residence, working hours in urban areas, daily working hours and knowledge of cervical cancer screening). After multivariate logistic regression analysis (OR = 1.408, 95% CI: 1.018-1.948), the higher the educational level (OR = 1.565,95% CI: 1.144-2.1422), the longer the migrant women went to work in the city (OR = 1.472, 95 % CI: 1.093-1.982). The more awareness of cervical cancer screening (OR = 4.378, 95% CI: 1.939-9.886), the stronger the screening intention and the longer working day (OR = 0.598, 95% CI: 0.409 ~ 0.874), the lower the screening intention. Conclusions Should be young women, low education level, census register for the field, short-term working hours into the city, working long hours a day as a key health education for the crowd.
