国家海洋局第一海洋研究所和江苏省水产资源勘测队一行七人,于五月十日在江苏省海岸带和海涂综合考察队的领导下,在东台县水产局及当地渔民的协助下,进行了东沙的考察。我们先从梁垛闸出发,穿过死生港向东20多公里滩面进行了生物、地质地貌调查。十二日凌晨,我们又乘“苏东台水4号”横渡西大洋,从东沙西侧登滩成功,先后在东沙第一高地(当地渔民称大腰门北)、第三高地(三婆娘盈子)、第四高地(三马腰北夹头)和江家坞附近
