In May 2009 (from 0:00 on May 1, 2009 to 24:00 on May 31, 2009), 647,729 notifiable infectious diseases were reported across the country (excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, the same below), killing 1015 people. Including Class A infectious disease, the incidence of deaths reported. Apart from the reported cases of SARS, poliomyelitis, human-free HPAI and diphtheria, and the deaths of Category B infectious diseases, 35,285 cases were reported dead
