In September 2009, after five years of arduous compilation, led by Wang Guanghuang, academician of Guanghua School of Ocean University of China and former director of the State Oceanic Administration, 12 academicians from both houses served as consultants, and more than 40 universities and research institutes in China A number of experts to participate in the “Chinese Ocean Materia Medica” finally available.
