几年前,英国前首相希思访问日本时,曾为日本电视台管弦乐节目作客串演出。他娴熟地演奏了巴赫的《前奏曲与赋格》和格里格的《德罗尔哈根的婚礼》,并以高超的技巧指挥“新日本爱乐乐团”演奏了英国作曲家埃尔加的《考凯因序曲》,博得日本电视观众极高的评价,称赞希思是“世界上第一流的业余音乐家”。
A few years ago, former British Prime Minister Heath paid a guest speech for Japan’s television orchestra when he visited Japan. He skillfully played Bach’s “Prelude and Fugue” and Grieg’s “Wedding of De Roalhagen”, and superb skills command “New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra” performed the British composer Elgar Of the “Koukain Overture,” won the high ratings of Japanese television viewers, praised Heath as “the best amateur musician in the world.”
