A study by British scientists shows that there are still about 1.75 billion years left on Earth for humankind’s living without the possible event of dramatic environmental changes such as asteroid impact. According to the study, the livability of a planet depends mainly on factors such as its temperature, the proper distance between planets and stars, and the presence of water. Based on previous surveys and space exploration data, the researchers studied these factors on the Earth and six other Earth-like planets, focusing on the effects of stellar warming on these factors. The result shows that there are still about 1.75 billion years remaining for the planet to sustain human beings and other complex living beings. If the earth continues to heat up and reach extreme levels
