目的研究γ射线对益母草种子的诱变效应,为采用益母草种子进行诱变育种提供参考依据。方法以益母草的干燥种子为材料,研究γ射线对其产生的生理效应和诱变效果。以种子发芽率、成苗率、幼苗苗高、根长,以及叶色突变率作为评价诱变效应的指标。结果γ射线对益母草种子发芽、幼苗生长有明显的抑制作用,具有较强的诱发叶色突变的能力。结论γ射线对益母草具有诱变作用,益母草干燥种子γ射线诱变育种的适宜辐射剂量范围为400~500 Gy。
Objective To study the mutagenic effects of γ-rays on Motherwort seeds and to provide a reference for the mutation breeding of Motherwort seeds. Methods The dried seeds of Leonurus were used as materials to study the physiological effects and mutagenic effects of γ-rays. Seed germination rate, seedling emergence rate, seedling height, root length, and leaf color mutation rate were used as indexes to evaluate the mutagenic effect. Results γ-rays could significantly inhibit the seed germination and seedling growth of Motherwort, and had a strong ability of inducing leaf color mutation. Conclusion γ ray has a mutagenic effect on Motherwort, and the suitable dose range of 400-500 Gy for the breeding of Motherwort dry seeds by γ-ray mutation breeding.
