2008年是大龙邮票问世130年。大龙邮票是中国发行的第一套邮票。大龙邮票发行100年时,我国的台湾曾举办盛大的邮展,还出版了《邮展选粹》和《大龙邮票封戳选辑》;1988年7月,在大龙邮票发行110年时,我国在北京举行了大型纪念活动,同时还发行了J150M《中国大龙邮票发行一百一十周年》小型张,出版了《大龙邮票纪念专集》。有关大龙邮票的发行日期,在20世纪80年代初,我国曾有过一场范围不小的讨论,吸引了大陆以及台湾、香港、日本、新加坡、美国等集邮家的参与。他
