In order to cultivate the Chinese language accomplishment and language ability of high school students, the new textbook for high school Chinese language has undergone major innovation. A slight analysis of the PEP 1-5 books makes it easy for us to discover the “new” of the new textbooks: the classical Chinese texts have been greatly increased and diversified, reflecting an open attitude; ideological and artistic.
