OBJECTIVE: To understand the ambulatory circadian rhythm of ambulatory blood pressure in Kazak nationalities aged 9 ~ 10 years old in Xinjiang and determine its biochemical parameters and compare with the national parameters of children. Methods: A total of 49 healthy children aged 9-10 years old in Balikun area of Xinjiang were selected, including 27 males and 22 females. The average age was (9.7 ± 0.5) years, height (139.67 ± 7.51) cm, body weight (30.91 ± 6.15) kg, Quality index (15.73 ± 2.00) kg / m2. Ambulatory blood pressure was monitored by using a non-invasive portable ambulatory blood pressure monitor. Subjects lived for 48 hours. Their diet was self-care and their habits were still the same. Urine volume was correctly collected for 24 hours, and medical history and physical examination were asked. The fasting blood serum was isolated and stored at -40 ℃ under low temperature to be measured. The parameters and mean height, body mass, body mass index and biochemical indexes of ambulatory blood pressure in 49 subjects were compared with those of normal children in China. Results: All the 49 tested children entered the result analysis. ①49 Xinjiang Kazak children 9 to 10-year-old average 24h ambulatory blood pressure 114 / 69mmHg (1mmHg = 0.133kPa); mean blood pressure during the day: 125/78 mmHg; night mean blood pressure: 98/56 mmHg. Ambulatory blood pressure in the first 2h of blood pressure was 127 / 83mmHg, significantly higher than the same age blood pressure (P <0.01). ② The average height and weight of children in this area are significantly different from those of the same area, same age and same sex in the whole country (P <0.01). ③Compared with the normal reference value of children in the country, blood sugar, triglyceride, serum creatinine and urinary sodium in 49 Kazakh children were in the normal range. Serum sodium, potassium, total cholesterol, albumin, Lower limit, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, and urinary creatinine levels were upper limits of normal reference values. CONCLUSIONS: The blood pressure of 24h ambulatory blood pressure of Kazak ethnic children from 9 to 10 years old in Xinjiang is higher than that of the same age children, and some blood biochemical indicators are different from the normal reference values of children in the country.
