周治平先生,“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授,博士生导师。50年代末出生于湖南衡阳雁峰区,曾就读于中南路小学、衡南一中、华中科技大学。大学毕业后赴美国乔治亚理工学院深造,并长期在国外从事科学研究工作,主编国内第一本《硅基光电子学》,在微电子、光电子、光通信及硅基光电集

Mr. Zhou Zhiping, “Cheung Kong Scholars Reward Program” Distinguished Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Born in Yanfeng District, Hengyang, Hunan in the late 1950s, he studied at Zhongnan Road Primary School, Hengnan No. 1 Middle School and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. After graduating from university, he went to the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States for further study. He has long been engaged in scientific research abroad and edited the first “Silicon-based Optoelectronics” in China, in microelectronics, optoelectronics, optical communications, and silicon-based optoelectronics.
