本文报告了一项提高“文献阅读与评价”课程质量的行动研究。“文献阅读与评价”课程为一年级英语专业应用语言学硕士研究生开设,共16个课时,一个学分,旨在提高学生阅读与评价学术文献的能力和合作学习的能力。该课程经历了3个循环的行动研究(2009—2011年),课程质量得到明显提高。实践证明,行动研究是改进教学、发展教师专业化能力的有效途径。
This article reports on an action study to improve the quality of the “Literature Reading and Evaluation” course. The “Literature Reading and Evaluation” course is designed for first-year Master of Applied Linguistics of English major with a total of 16 hours and one credit. It aims to improve students’ abilities of reading and evaluating academic documents and cooperative learning. The course has undergone three cycles of action research (2009-2011) and the quality of the courses has been significantly improved. Practice has proved that action research is an effective way to improve teaching and develop teachers’ professional ability.
