OTC药品作为亚商业产品的形态在包装设计行业中处于一种特殊地位,在消费者认识和选择某种药品时,包装的指示引导性起着关键性作用,从消费者日常生活用品的选购中了解到,产品的品牌形象、充满创意的包装设计、充分体现产品的特点以及使用后的回收再利用,是消费者选择该产品时主要考虑的几个方面。在医药市场中,大多数药品的选择会根据医生的处方而购买,消费者也不会太注重该药品的品牌和包装。而OTC药品作为非处方药,同一种治疗功效的药品会有很多生产厂家和品牌,而消费者也会根据品牌的形象、药品的包装、产品的知名度等要素来进行选购,因此OTC药品的包装设计也是产品凸显产品特点和以人为本的精神理念。本文着重讨论了OTC药品包装设计中对老龄患者的人性化体现,指出充分重视功能和体现人性化的包装设计才是未来设计的发展方向。
