纽约(New York)是美 国第一大都市和第一大商港, 它不仅是美国的金融中心, 也是全世界金融中心之一。 纽约位于纽约州东南哈得孙 河口,濒临大西洋。它由五个 区组成:曼哈顿、布鲁克林、 布朗克斯、昆斯和里土满,面 积828.8平方公里,市区 人口700多万,包括郊区 在内的大纽约市人口180 0万。纽约还是联合国总部 所在地、总部大厦坐落在曼 哈顿岛东河河畔。
New York is the largest metropolis and the largest commercial port in the United States. It is not only the financial center of the United States, but also one of the world’s financial centers. New York is located at the mouth of Hudson, Southeast of New York State, and borders the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of five districts: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queensland, and Litoum. It has an area of 828.8 square kilometers and has a population of more than 7 million in the urban area, including a population of 1.80 million in Greater New York City. New York is also the headquarters of the United Nations. The headquarters building is located on the East River on Manhattan Island.
