警察法学不仅仅是研究警察法律制度或以警察法为研究对象的学科,作为公安学的二级学科,警察法学更应该关注运用法学的方法、原理研究警察权力的运行机理,是警察法律制度设定与运行辩证统一的二级交叉学科。正因为警察法学的研究是规范权力与保障公民权利动态平衡的前提,是警察权力行使规范化的理论基础,是警察权力行使与责任承担统一的必然要求,因此我们要从法哲学方法论视角对警察法学学科进行梳理,进一步科学化警察法学二级学科体系。
