In January 1985, the Ninth Session of the Sixth NPC Standing Committee passed the resolution of the State Council on the establishment of Teacher’s Day and decided to designate September 10 each year as a Teacher’s Day. September 10 of the year is China’s first teacher’s day. Earlier, on the print media and on the Internet, there were various rumors that the day of Teacher’s Day this year needs to be adjusted and will be replaced by September 28, the birthday of Confucius as calculated by the authoritative department. However, it seems that time does not care about people’s troubles. It just goes along its own riverbed. It passed on September 10 and passed on September 28. So far, it has not seen any announcement or document on the adjustment of holiday time by relevant departments. This shows that at least 2013 has not changed. Perhaps due to the noisy voices of all parties involved and the attraction of other events, the holiday season of Teachers’ Day this year has been much weaker than in previous years. It is in this dullness that as a teacher I read a poem entitled “Teacher, Hello!” This poem has given me some unsightly thoughts. This is an ode to the teacher, but as an object of being praised, my feeling is surprisingly poor. Because, under a beautiful theme, it is
