一什么是字母的名称读过外文的人都了解,一个字母除了它拼音时所发的本音(也就是它实际所代表的音)以外,还有一个名称(就是字母本身的念法)。比方英文的字母w拼音时发“屋”音,它的名称是“大不留”。俄文字母x拼音时发“赫”(注音字母厂)音,它的名称是“哈”。有的人对这种现象不大了解或不大习惯。我们几十年来所使用的注音字母本来也是既有本音又有名称的。
What is the Name of the Alphabet Anyone who has read a foreign language understands that a letter has a name (that is, the letter itself) in addition to the native sound (that is, what it actually represents) when it is pinyin. For example, when the English letter “w” is pronounced “Pinyin”, its name is “大不 留 ”. Russian alphabet Pinyin “He” (phonetic alphabet factory) sound, its name is “Ha ”. Some people do not know much about this phenomenon or not accustomed to it. The phonetic letters that we have used for decades have also been given the same name as the original.
