2016年11月28日-29日,由教育部职业技术教育中心研究所、新西兰怀卡托理工学院、青岛职业技术学院、天津轻工职业技术学院共同主办的“2016中国——新西兰高等职业教育研讨会”在青岛召开。开幕式由青岛职业技术学院院长覃川主持,青岛市高校工委副书记李岷、新西兰驻华大使馆教育参赞Alexandra Grace、教育部国际司美大处吴忆蒙和教育部职教研究所国际合作与比较教育研究室主任刘育锋等领导出席并致辞。参加本次会议的有8所新西兰
