Professor Zheng Guoxi was born in November 1940 in Huidong County, Sichuan Province. After graduating from the Philosophy Department of Sichuan University in July 1964, he worked for the Huili mine in the southwestern part of the CPC Central Committee and in the party school of Sichuan Province in late 1979.
