Our goal of promoting public soil education is not to preach but to inspire. Taking this as its guiding ideology, the National Museum of Natural History organized a large-scale exhibition “Mining It! The Secret of the Soil”. From the perspective of the ecosystem, this exhibition regards the agroecosystem - the traditional context of soil education as With one of many ecosystem types as its backdrop, through the artistic and cultural inspiration, exhibits are selected to surprise and entertain the audience. The exhibition aims to communicate with a wide audience of viewers with a core audience of 12 to 14 years old. The exhibition covers all areas of concern to contemporary soil scientists - climate change, eutrophication, soil degradation, sustainable farming and other dimensions. Visitors interviewed explained that the exhibition had the potential to change the perception of more than 2 million people for preconceived soils. We are very much looking forward to this exhibition through the content-rich official website to continue to inspire the public’s understanding of the soil.
