灵台剖面第四纪晚期古土壤———这里指S8及其上古土壤 ;第四纪中早期古土壤———这里指离石黄土S9及其下古土壤和午城黄土中所有古土壤 ;第三纪古土壤———指第三纪红粘土 ,在形态特征上有明显区别。这种区别是由于古成土过程中水分运行方式的不同造成的。根据形态特征和古成土过程水作用方式的差异 ,把上述 3个时代的古土壤依次称为淋溶型古土壤、滞水型古土壤和地下水升降型古土壤。不同时代古土壤成土过程水作用方式的这种差异 ,是由降水量、尘降速率等环境因素的改变引起的 ,在黄土高原具有普遍性。正确地认识这一问题有助于更好地解译黄土高原晚新生代以来的古气候和古环境。
The late Quaternary ancient soil of the Lingtai section --- here refers to the S8 and its ancient soil; the paleosol of the middle and early Quaternary - here refers to all the ancient soil in the Loess Loess S9 and its lower ancient soil and the Loess Plateau; Triassic ancient soil - refers to the Tertiary red clay, there are obvious differences in morphological characteristics. This difference is due to the ancient soil processes in the water caused by the different ways. According to the difference of the morphological characteristics and the action of ancient soil process water, the ancient soils of the above three periods are successively called leaching type ancient soil, water retention type ancient soil and groundwater lifting type ancient soil. This difference in the way of soil-forming water from ancient soils in different ages is caused by the change of environmental factors such as precipitation and dust drop rate, and is universal in the Loess Plateau. Correct understanding of this issue helps to better interpret the paleoclimate and paleoenvironment since the Late Cenozoic of the Loess Plateau.
