Kasochin - Beek disase has been recognized for more than 300 years as a disease since the record of Anze County in China in 1644. The European Russian official Ullensky observed the disease on both sides of the Oulov River in 1844. From 1857 to 1862, Dr. Kasochin conducted a survey in the affected area, about 130 years ago. During these 130 years of research, a great deal of work by pioneers made a useful contribution to revealing the etiology of Kashin-Beck disease. This laid the foundation for us to recognize the etiology of Kashin-Beck disease on a new level in the contemporary era. However, due to the limitation of the level of development of science and technology with the characteristics of the times, it is almost impossible to reveal the real cause of Kaschin-Beck disease in the 19th century or even before the 1950s. Prior to this pioneer work is useful, but any comprehensive discussion of the cause of Kashin-Beck disease Wang, but in vain, because the timing is not yet ripe. It was at a time when biochemistry was not yet mature enough to provide enough knowledge of molecular metabolism at the bone level. Only in the past 20 years has the explosive growth of knowledge
