The effect of soil pH on crop development has been extensively studied. It has been demonstrated that the application of calcium (such as limestone) to acidic soils can promote watermelon production. However, studies on the effect of soil acidity on watermelon tissue concentration have not been proposed yet. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of soil acidity on Ca, AI and Mn concentrations in watermelon leaf tissue and their effects on crop growth and development.
