笔者受西南林学院和林业部的派遣,应研讨会组委会的邀请,参加了国际森林遥感监测学术研讨会,现将会议的概况作一简要介绍。国际森林遥感监测学术研讨会是由国际林业研究组织联盟,即 IUFRO(International union of Forestry Or-ganization)召开的。芬兰国际开发署给会议提供了资助。参加操办会议的单位有:泰国卡塞莎(Kasetsart)大学林学院、泰国皇家林业部和泰国国家研究院,芬兰约恩苏(Joensuu)大学林学院和赫尔辛基(Helsinki)大学林学院。
The author was dispatched by the Southwest Forestry College and the Ministry of Forestry. At the invitation of the Organizing Committee of the Symposium, I participated in the international symposium on forest remote sensing monitoring. Now I will make a brief introduction of the conference. The International Symposium on Forest Remote Sensing Monitoring was conducted by the International Union of Forestry Research Organizations, IUFRO (International Union of Forestry Organization). Finnish Agency for International Development provided funding for the conference. The participating campuses are: Kasetsart University College of Forestry, Royal Thai Ministry of Forestry and National Institute of Thailand, Joensuu University College of Finland and Helsinki University College of Forestry.
