我院药材科根据文献报导试制了水菖蒲片,临床用于治疗小儿普通型肺炎,有效率为87.0％,为了改进水菖蒲片的剂型便于婴幼儿使用,同时提高疗效,我院药材科在南京药学院协助下提取了南京地区水菖蒲挥发油中的活性成份之一α—细辛醚,制成了注射剂,经南京药学院对α—细辛醚注射剂作了安全、刺激性、溶血、热原等试验,对溶血性金葡球菌、肺炎球菌及大肠杆菌均有不同程度抑制生长的作用,我们于1978年1月开始用于临床治疗小儿
