高梁雄性不育系421A 是1983年10月从国际热带半干旱地区作物研究所(ICRISAT)引进的新不育系,原编号为 SPL132A。当年冬季,在海南岛繁种、测配,其海南区号为421,故得名421A。421A 不育系经过7个世代南繁北育的观察和鉴定,表现农艺性状好,不育性稳定,配合力高;其所配杂交种产量高、抗倒伏、叶病很轻,基本上能够克服622A 系统杂交种秆软、易倒、叶病重的缺点,现将初步研究的结果简报如下。
