掺铒光纤放大器使构成带有泵浦放大器的简单孤子传输系统成为可能,我们提出了一种综合的色散补偿动态孤子通信方法,这种方法可以把放大器间距延长到100km以上。由于光纤损耗引起非线性降低所造成的脉冲展宽,可在每只光中继器上采用正的群速色散得到完全补偿。
The erbium-doped fiber amplifier makes it possible to construct a simple soliton transmission system with a pump amplifier. We propose an integrated dispersion-compensated dynamic soliton communication method that extends the amplifier pitch to more than 100 km. The pulse width broadening due to the non-linear decrease caused by fiber loss compensates completely with positive group velocity dispersion on each optical repeater.
