豫棉4号(原郑4107)是河南省农业科学院培育出的高产、优质、抗病棉花新品种。1989年经河南省农作物品种审定并命名。1990年通过国家品种审定,定名为国审豫棉4号(简写为GS豫棉4号),是农业部确定的全国重点扩繁品种。1991年省内外推广面积已达250多万亩,成为河南省棉花主要当家品种。
YM4 (formerly Zheng 4107) is a new high-yielding and disease-resistant cotton variety bred by Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In 1989 by the Henan province crop varieties validated and named. In 1990, it passed the examination of national varieties and was named National Yumian No.4 (abbreviated as GS Yumian No.4), which is the key national expanded variety identified by the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1991, both inside and outside the province have reached over 2.5 million mu and have become the main varieties of cotton in Henan Province.
