幼儿园以游戏为基本活动,是幼儿能够积极主动地进行学习的主要方式,也是对幼儿进行全面发展教育的重要形式。让幼儿在游戏中学习,已成为广大幼教工作者的共识。但要开展内容合理、丰富充足的区域游戏,首先幼儿园要为孩子们创设宽松、自由、科学合理,符合幼儿年龄特征的游戏环境。幼儿园的空间、设施、活动材料和常规要求等应有利于引发、支持幼儿的游戏和各种探索活动,有利于引发、支持幼儿与周围环境之间积极的相互作用,这些环境和活动内容、形式的提法,都是在尊重幼儿喜好游戏、好奇、好动手探索的特性,以游戏的方式与环境发生相互作用。这样才有利于幼儿主动学习、自主参与,使幼儿在轻松、愉悦的游戏过程中积极思考,大胆探索,充分表现,满足幼儿身心发展需要。
