The sensitivity, selectivity, precision and separability of the pretreatment part of the multisensor system are comprehensively analyzed. The norm of matrix is used to prove the upper bound of the estimation accuracy and separability. These upper bounds reveal the relationship between accuracy and separability and the design condition [Cond (B)] and the deviation of the design matrix δB from the random variable ε. This shows that to improve the estimation accuracy of multisensor systems, it can be achieved by controlling Cond (B), δB and ε
