1957年8月,我乡幸福社增添了24个从城里下来的新农民,他們都是当年的中、小学毕业生。在半年多的时間里,他們經受了思想、生产、生活上的鍛煉,在各方面得到了不少的提高,对支援农业生产起了一定的作用。这作用表現在什么地方呢?我認为除了他們的劳动已为国家創造了一部分財富外,起碼还有三点:①鼓舞了农民的生产积极性。过去,我乡有些青年小伙子,不安心农业生产,想往城里跑,想当工人。
In August 1957, my hometown Xingfu Society added 24 new peasants who came down from the city. All of them were primary and secondary school graduates of that year. In more than six months, they have undergone ideological, production, and daily life training and have achieved much improvement in all aspects, which has played a certain role in supporting agricultural production. Where is it? In my opinion, there are at least three points except for the fact that their labor has created a part of the wealth for the country: ① Encouraging the peasants’ enthusiasm for production. In the past, some young ladies in my hometown were not at ease in agricultural production and wanted to run in cities and want to become workers.
