众所周知,Eu~(3+)激活的YVO_3阴极射线粉,在紫外线激发下产生红色发光。用汞的紫外谱线激发,因温度作用,使红色成分不足;用高压汞蒸汽放电激发,可改进光源颜色。所以,上述的钒酸钇的钇的部分或全部用Gd置换,钒酸根的部分或全部被硼酸根和磷酸根置换,可以改进红色发光效率。其它灯用荧光粉,以低压汞蒸汽放电激发,发光可能显著下降。这是实用上需要解决的问题。
As we all know, Eu ~ (3+) activated YVO_3 cathode ray powder, under the excitation of ultraviolet light to produce red light. UV excitation with mercury, due to temperature, so that the lack of red ingredients; with high-pressure mercury vapor discharge can improve the light color. Therefore, some or all of yttrium yttrium vanadate described above is partly or totally substituted by Gd, and part or all of vanadate is substituted by borate and phosphate, whereby the red light emission efficiency can be improved. Other lamps with phosphor, low-pressure mercury vapor discharge excitation, luminescence may be significantly reduced. This is a practical problem to be solved.
