板栗是我国特产干果树种之一.营养丰富,为人民生活所喜爱的果品,也是提高人民生活,增加社员收入一项有前途的副业生产.我县栽培板栗历史悠久,目前还保存200年生左右的老栗树,长势良好.栽培面积和产量均列居徐州地区首位.全县板栗面积3198亩,占果树总面积的20.3%,是我县主要果树种之一.1981年产量32.87万斤,占全县果品总产量的2.77%.出口量25.5万斤,是我县主要出口果品.一、我县板栗生产现状1.分布和栽培方式1)分布:我县板栗主要分布在沂、沭河平原和局部丘陵岗地.分布在沂河地区有炮车、纪集二个公社,占板栗面积13%.分布在沭河地区有桥安、唐店、王庄、邵店公社,占板栗面积77%.分布在丘陵岗地有高流、高塘、北沟、马陵等公社,占板栗面积10%.
