In recent years, there have been many incidents of serious negative impact on commercial society both at home and abroad: the oil spill incident in BP Gulf of Mexico and the successive vicious food safety incidents in China are numerous. More and more consumers regard the prosperity of enterprises as the result of a zero-sum game with social benefits, environmental benefits and people’s livelihood benefits. This forces the government to introduce more and more laws to restrict and punish enterprises, making the cost of compliance operations more and more high, the competitiveness inevitably declining, and consumer trust in the enterprises also coming down.
