American biochemist Dr Arthur Ko-rnberg died of respiratory failure on October 26, 2007 in Stamford, California, at the age of 89. His main contribution was the discovery of DNA (DNA) synthesis, which not only won him the Nobel Prize, but also triggered a revolution in biotechnology.
