岭南盆景的造型风格可归纳为四大类:雄、秀、清、奇。雄:树型矮壮、霸悍。常见于矮仔大树型;古榕型;双于大树型;三干大树型;一本多干大树型。其造型的特点是留托较多、枝粗托壮,间节短;侧枝、横角枝密集;树冠茂密;根头嶙峋苍古。秀:树型高度适中,介于矮桩与高桩之间,树粗飘逸、峻俏、潇洒、秀茂。常见于单干、双干、曲干、卧干,斜干的造型。起托位置较高,外展度大;托与托之间的间距空间
