素质教育是以促进学生在德、智、体、美、劳等方面综合发展为目的的教育活动,新课改强调培养学生的创新意识和创新精神、创新能力,其目的是培养创新型人才,从培养的目标看,两者并不矛盾。全面发展包括创新素质,而培养创新精神与创新能力,既以德、智、体、美、劳等方面的发展为基础,又是全面发展的目的。所以说素质教育包含新课程改革,新课改是高质量的素质教育,两者相辅相成,并不矛盾。新课改中素质教育是关键,因此,新课改下搞好素质教育就是值得我们深思的问题了。
