槪說 凡藥物能直接剌戟嘔吐中樞,或間接的,反射的經由許多末梢性的剌戟;致使嘔吐中樞興奮,因而引起嘔吐的,謂之催吐劑。生理作用一、剌戟胃的知覺神經,由間接的,反射的興奮延髓嘔吐中樞,引起嘔吐。二、由血液吸收,直接剌戟嘔吐中樞。三、能吐出胃的内容物,及喉頭、氣管枝粘液與異物等。四、嘔吐時,常發生惡心,自汗,心悸,脉速,唾液氣管枝之分泌均增加。
