1997年7月16日,国务院下发了《关于建立统一企业职工基本养老保险制度的决定》,据此,中国银行现行的养老保险制度将与全国统一方案“并轨”。那么,中国银行职工退休待遇会不会降低呢?这是广大职工切为关心的实际问题。对此,总行统筹办公室作出了如下解释:我们将职工分为三种情况来说,第一种情况是将“并轨”前已离退休的职工称作“老人”;把“并轨”后参加工作的职工称作“新人”;把“并轨”前参加工作,“并轨”后退休的职工称作“中人”。
