Robert Kaplan Robert S. Kaplan is one of the founders of the Balance Score Card, the chairman of the American Balanced Scorecard Association. He is also one of the founders of activity-based costing. Kaplan has been teaching at Harvard Business School since 1984 and is currently a chair professor at the Baker Foundation at Harvard Business School.
