在高校英语课堂教学中,很多教师都发现学生处于被动地位,即使教师提出了问题学生也不远主动回答,甚至与教师的口头交流和目光接触都基本没有,一些教师向全班学生提问,但是却没有同学愿意回答,造成了非常尴尬的局面,导致教学效率低下。有些时候是因为教师提出的问题难度太大,学生回答不出来,但是实际情况往往是学生知道答案也不愿站起来回答,在学习中遇到困难、产生疑问,也不愿主动向教师询问,师生之间缺少课堂互动,是影响高校英语课堂教学质量的关键因素之一。
In college English classroom teaching, many teachers find that students are in a passive position. Even though teachers ask questions, students take the initiative to answer their questions. Even the verbal exchanges and eye contact with teachers are basically absent. Some teachers ask questions from the entire class of students. However, But no students are willing to answer, resulting in a very awkward situation, leading to inefficient teaching. Sometimes it is because the teachers’ questions are too difficult for the students to answer. However, students often do not want to stand up and answer questions when they know the answers. They encounter difficulties in learning, have questions, and are not willing to ask teachers actively. The lack of classroom interaction between teachers and students is one of the key factors that affect the quality of college English teaching.
