应当怎样理解和看待孔子思想与当代社会的关系?孔子思想对当代社会生活的作用究竟是积极的还是消极的?这是自“五四”以来一直没有从理论上很好解决的问题。近几年来,国内外学术界围绕这些问题进行了许多有益的探讨,其中不乏真知灼见。但是,以专著的形式,从整体上全面系统地研究孔子思想与当代社会的关系的论著尚不多见。由李启谦、姜林祥先生主编的《孔子思想与当代社会》(天津社会科学院出版社出版)一书,对这一课题进行了系统全面的探索,取得了可贵的成果。
How to Understand and Look at the Relationship between Confucianism and Contemporary Society? Is Confucianism’s role in contemporary social life positive or negative? This is a problem that has not been solved theoretically well since the May Fourth Movement. In recent years, there have been many useful discussions on these issues at home and abroad, many of whom are very insightful. However, in the form of monographs, it is still rare to find a comprehensive and systematic study of the relationship between Confucius’ thought and contemporary society. A book entitled “Confucius Thought and Contemporary Society” (published by Tianjin Academy of Social Sciences) compiled by Li Qijian and Jiang Linxiang conducted a systematic and comprehensive exploration of this issue and achieved valuable results.
