In nearly 20 years of Vibroseis exploration practice, the linearly-swept sine wave is the only officially available vibroseis signal. However, we can find some other driving signals or transform commonly used signals to generate new signals to improve the autocorrelation peak-to-edge ratio. At the same time, we can save a large amount of data in field acquisition and subsequent processing time.
