The polyacrylamide supports with amino groups were synthesized by aminating poly (methyl aery-late) with polyamine. Candida cylindracea lipase (CCL) was immobilized on these supports and the activity of ester hydrolysis catalyzed by immobilized lipase was investigated. Some rules were found for the influence of aminating conditions and support structure on the immobilization of CCL. CCL immobilized on some supports has high enzymatic activity. The effects of pH, ionic strength of substrate solution and reaction temperature on the activity of dissolved CCL were compared with those on immobilized CCL. The operational stability of immobilized CCL was also studied.
